This fabulous antique Scottish Repousse Silver Citrine brooch is genuine Victorian, Circa 1890.

Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her trips to Scotland. From the mid 1800's Queen Victoria frequented Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral.

The wonderful brooch is decorated with detailed engraved Scottish Thistles surrounding a large crisp honey coloured Citrine in the centre.

Citrine’s sparkle and have a crisp, radiant quality about them. The stone is sometimes known as "Gold Topaz" and is the birthstone for November.

The brooch is set in Sterling Silver and displays detailed Repousse workmanship throughout.

Purchased in London and steeped in Victorian history.

Looks beautiful when worn, a great Scottish piece that deserves to be treasured.

Weighs 15.6 grams.

Measures 41mm across x 41mm down.

Citrine Measures 16mm x 16mm.
